BANNARI PADDY MICRONUTRIENT MIXTURE
Salient Features
- Zinc deficiency in paddy causes chlorosis in lower leaves particularly towards the base. Deficient plants also give a brown rusty appearance.
- Copper deficiency causes chlorotic streaks on leaves on either side of the midrib and appearance of dark brown necrotic lesions on leaf tips.
- Magnesium deficiency in paddy causes chlorosis in leaves with white tips.
- Application of micronutient corrects the above deficiencies and makes available all the nutrients required for plant growth and imparts disease resistance in paddy.
Recommended dose
- For one acre, apply 5 - 10 kgs of Bannari Paddy Micronutrient mixture mixed with 200 kgs of well decomposed farm yard manure or biocompost within 15 days after transplanting.
